Hello, I was wondering how to create a user that has readonly access? I want him to be able to do searches as well.

Create a ReadOnlyGrant and give it to him, propagate that role to all taxonomy folder where that user must have grants.

Other thing you can doing with that user is limitate only to use search view ( with profiles hide others ).

Can you help me create a ReadOnlyGrant?

I'm logged in as admin. Go to Administration>Users?
