My company purchased a very expensive document management system and it simply isn't doing what the sales people said it would. It's been several months and they have yet to get it working for us.
We have two requirements that I believe are out of the norm.
The first is that we have ITAR and non-ITAR document types in our databases. We have a table that lists the ITAR documents. These can only be inside the US and seen by US citizens. We need our doc management system to be able to know on the back end when we scan into that it's ITAR or non-ITAR.
The second is that we have a document type (work order) that has multiple part numbers associated with it. We need to be able to put in a work order number and have the system look for it in our database and then list all the part numbers in the database associated with that work order.
Will this work for this? Are there specialists who can customize this?
