I'm trying to make a little KM-system for my own home files.
It will contain this:
- Articles from online newspapers (PDF, i.e. Wall Street Journal)
- Reports (PDF or OpenOffice Word, i.e. from OECD)
- Graphics (JPEG-images, tables with info, graphs etc.)
- Spreadsheet (OpenOffice spreadsheet-files)
- Other (for other types of files)
I've looked at the various documentation pages and also watched some of the online videos, including the first few minutes of the Metadata-video.
I must admit I gave up pretty quickly.
It looks overwhelming.
I do know XML and even have a few years of experience coding C and C++, but that dates back to 1997-2003, so I'm rusty to say the least.
Therefore, if it is not too much trouble, I'd like to ask if a kind soul show me step by step how to achieve adding a metadata structure like the one in the JPEG-image I've attached?
I will be very grateful for all the help I can get.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Thanks!
Best,
Henrik
