Hi, I've being trying to install OpenKM in an existing JBoss 5 or 6. I really need this because I use JBoss in a cloud environment and my hosting provider only offer JBoss 5 or JBoss 6 as container and I have several applications deployed in this cloud environment. So, it is easy for me to change from OpenKM to something else than change my hosting provider.

I need some detailed instructions on how to deploy OpenKM in JBoss 5 or 6. Can someone be kind enough to provide me some step-by-step procedure? I found some topics here in the board, but nothing works.

ALSO, I want to BUY professional support and have access to documentation and professional extensions, but Ive contacted you and it took 3 days to answer me by e-mail, than you asked for some information, I answered and I'm still waiting for an answer (2 days now)... Can we have a more agile communication somehow?

Regards,
Daniel

Hi, this is impressive... how can NOBODY from OpenKM answer my sales inquiry?? I have no answer for the emails I sent. Are you guys on vacation or something? I'm starting to doubt if I should buy the professional support. Also, I want to buy access to the wiki, but the ONLY reason I didn't buy yet is because I think that, after the payment, I will have to wait 1 week to have access, since I cannot get in touch with anybody...

Some of us are on vacations but all mails received are added to our CRM to answering from there. I've not received yours because none of mails I've reviewed talks about jboss 5.x or upper, how have you sent it ? from www.openkm.com/Contact form ? or other ?

contact with me directly and I'll investigate what has happened.

About deploying on jboss 5 is not easy doing it, there're some problems with webservices on that version ( classical jboss problem when upgrading version ). Next version will require only tomcat support ( what we're on development ). We can install 5.0.x version on jboss 5, but with 5.1.x will got some problems if you want to have ws support.

I don't mind if it is JBoss 5. DOES NOT need to be 5.1. Do you provide documentation on how to install in JBoss 5? I don't want you to install. I want to do it myself, because I want to have full control of my application. If I subscribe to the wiki, will I have any kind of documentation about JBoss 5?

ALSO, can you tell me how long will it take for the tomcat version to be ready? (just an estimative)

About my emails, I did not mention JBoss... I just want to know the price for the professional support and I cannot get an answer for that. The guy that answered me asked about the size of the repository for the 1st and 2nd year, I ANSWERED, and he did not answered me back... please, asnwer me ASAP. You can use the email I used to register the forum.

OK with your mail I'll forward your question to sales team.

About documentation for deploying on other jboss there's no documented because it's not trivial configuration and has some problems with webservices ( we not document for some jboss version that will not be 100% yet supported ). About openkm release for tomcat, that will be new upper openkm version, but we're doing major changes and probably until next year will not be released, we're making great changes for better perfomance ( for example own database, not jackrabbit etc... althought will continue offering jackrabbit support ). If none of our customers need mandatory tomcat will continue with our release day time planning.
