Hi there,
I'm running OpenKM 5.1.5 with the packaged JBoss.
I'm using Ubuntu server.
I tried to set up webdav, but I can't seem to get it working.
I set the OpenKM.cfg file string:
Code: Select all
system.webdav.server=on
I also installed:
Code: Select all
apt-get install davfs2
Then restarted apache2 and JBoss.
Firewall is temporarily disabled on the ubuntu server machine, and the windows 7 machine I am trying to connect on.
I tried using webdrive to access the server, but i get the following output:
I had to add spaces in to the server location in the below quote due to my post looking 'spammy', but they're not there normally.
Connecting to site
Connecting to h t t p : / / localhost:8080/repository/default/okm_root/Database
Resolving url localhost to an IP address
Url resolved to IP address 127.0.0.1
Connecting to 127.0.0.1 on port 8080
Connecting to 127.0.0.1 on port 8080

Unable to connect to server, error information below

Error: Socket connect failed to the server. (4504)
Operation: Connecting to server
Winsock Error: WSAECONNREFUSED (10061)

Suggestion

A firewall may be blocking the connection. Check your XP firewall to make sure the port is not blocked.
I was just wondering if anyone else had actually got this working. I have not configured davfs2, apart from to allow user access.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Daniel.

first try with your browser directly to see if webdav is running propertly ( from version 5.1.X changes must be done in Administration tab, not in OpenKM.cfg, I'm not sure if it could be the problem ).
