Workflow - .par question and workflow builder

Hi
Can someone tell me how to convert xml Eclipse files into a .par files ? When I click save as it only can be saved in xml.
I also have a favour to ask can someone show me or send me a sample workflow (advanced). I want to learn how to draw them but the documentation on wiki is not enaugh.
