Working with other document mangement systems ?

Hi all.

I would like to know what the possibilities are for getting OpenKM to work with other document mangement systems ?
We have a SolidWorks (CAD) system and all the drawings, parts etc., are managed in SolidWorks PDM system, which also takes control of revision control and owners etc.
Right now we also use the PDM for pdf, doex etc.

Further more we will probably use subversion for software source code files later on.
What we need openKM for is document management of all the non-SolidWorks and non-subversion files like pdf, docx etc.

But we also need a complete list (searchable) of all documents (both solidworks, source code, pdf, docx, you-name-it) and I was thinking of openKM to maintain that list.
Can openKM maintain a list and still allow:
- version control / lock / unlock of solidworks files to be maintained by PDM,
- version control / lock / unlock of source code files to be maintained by subversion
- version control / lock / unlock of the rest in openKM ?
