In the same line of discussion of my previous post (Succes story with JDK 6 (aka 1.6)), I think your "Quick Install Guide" should be updated to instruct users to define system-wide environment variable JAVA_HOME.
As a matter of fact, no matter which JDK you're installing (1.5 or 1.6), JAVA_HOME is never defined by the setup. This has to be done manually.
Off-topic: I don't know why OpenKM would need such variable. You see, I use other Java based applications like Eclipse, Tomcat or NetBeans, they all manage (well, more or less) to find JRE or JDK automatically. But this is another discussion.
