how to change the root name

Actually you can not do it.

Why do you need ? if you\'ve got some interesting reason on future we could plan to made it configurable.

okm:root is key code fixed on source code. You might not change it. Is not easy to change it actually and I can\'t recoment doing it.

I\'d like the feature of having a root name that\'s user definable (at least during the installation/configuration level), simplar to being able to change the page titles from \"Login\" and \"OpenKM\" to something customizable.

The product itself is quite good, but small tweaks like this could make it even more palatable to corporate users. For example, the ability to change the page titles and root names to something meaningful like the name of the company that\'s using it.

You\'d like to change OpenKM login logos etc... to make a corporative environment not ?

Really now it can be done, simply changing two- three images into OpenKM.war file

Other changes are more critical like okm:root etc... because are node names, but we could make some configuration on file property to change it for other on ui, but not internally.

About more easy way to changing images, really must be changed on OpenKM.war file ( into OpenKM.ear ) it\'s really so easy to change with winrar. If you need help doing it tell me if you desire to changing it.

To change logo ( images ) must edit OpenKM.war into OpenKM.ear ( deploy directory with jboss stoped ) and overwrite images ( it\'s easy to locate them ).

About changing okm:root name now it\'s so difficult because it\'s hard code.
