Hi,
I installed 4.1 version and am quite happy with the performance, versioning, rights, etc.
Just need one feature to set: a drive letter on the client side (again XP SP3 clients).
I have tried many WebDAV clients, none of them working ok.
Obviously it is working fine in 'explorer' style windows, but I need a drive letter
to tell the user quite simply: document server with your folders is under X: drive letter.

Before OpenKM I tested M-Files and the drive letter usage was impressive.

So: what is the way to get OpenKM repositorium as a drve letter?

Thanks for the tip, but...

This message comes while connecting with webdrive (v 9.14 build 2353)

Unable to connect to server, error information below

Error: HTTP Error response received from server, erorr=501 (4516)
Operation: Connecting to server
Server Response: 501 Method PROPFIND is not defined in RFC 2068 and is not supported by the Servlet API
More details:

I have Apache instance running on port 80.
I did port redirection while testing other cients, but it is not relevant I think...

Because it looks the listing of the directory fails I tried different URLs but none worked...

Also I can say it again: access to the repository is seamless
while using the browsers (the /OpenKM/ folder to :8080 port redirection works again fine)

Any ideas to get a letter drive welcome...

I think could be a bug in this version of webdrive, the character ":" could be a problem try without okm:root and tell me if runs right ?

Try too with our online demo at demo.openkm.com to veryfy if it's port 8080 the problem ( have you configured 8080 in webdrive wizard ? )

Hi,
The port redirection was the reason.
The url:
http://ait:8080/OpenKM/repository/default/okm:root/
connects fine.
While I was trying 8080 before I must have made other mistake...

Short test shows versioning and rights working fine...

Bad news is the price for Webdrive is about 2k$ for 100 seats I need.

I tested XP built-in connection services but it does not work on 8080 port.
So Webdrive will help me with verifying proper port redirections.

You can change jboss port or use apache proxy ( in wiki it's explained how to configure it ).

Windows webdav support it's not really very good. We can not help on windows webdav clients price :( only we can suggest what we knows runs well. You could try other netdrive for example ( but for me has worked worst than webdrive )
