Hi,

I had to install OpenKM for a user group and they came back to me with some deceivingly trivial questions to which I didn't immediately spot an answer in the docs

- Is there a way to copy/paste the text of notes on documents?
- Can you hide the Templates/My Documents/Email/Trash buttons in the left pane on the Desktop?

Thanks in advance

In OpenKM 5.0 any available option can be hidden, we've introduded the "profiles configuration" concept ( user have one profile ) . In version 4.X it's not possible, you'll must be waiting for it to 5.x version

About copy/paste notes to documents ... I understand the first but not "documents" which documents ? into the document that has the note ?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

About the notes: I meant the notes you can add to a document in the notes tab sheet. Once entered, you can't select the text to copy/paste. I see the cursor changing to an I-beam but I can't select any text

Attached a screen shot to show what I mean

In this tab ... copy option is disabled ( we use some style to disable it ) ... if you want to enable copy there ... might be done some changes
