Outlook plugin - How does it work ?

Hi,

I just saw there was a first version of an Outlook plugin. I downloaded and installed it without problem. But I see absolutely no difference in my Outlook; no new menu entry, no new toolbar. I don't see how to call it. Do I need to do a special manipulation to import and activate it into Oulook ?

PS1: I use Outlook 2007 SP2 (12.0.6529.5000) - french version
PS2: I made a copy of every file and folder which name was *en-GB.* to *fr-FR*, but it changed nothing

Plugin it's for outlook 2003 I've not compiled for 2007 could happens that in this version not be installed propertly. For me it has been a surprise to see that there's in visual studio two entries one for making a addin for 2003 and other for 2007 version. I've decided for 2003 version because I think it's what's are more number of users using it.

I'm not sure, while Microsoft has announced Office 2010, that most users always use Oulook 2003, but it seems this plugin isn't actually compatible with Outlook 2007
Damage, if I understand, it should be a "killer functionality" for openKM

After making 2003 plugins we'll made 2007 version.

As you can understand it's "increible" how compatible is microsoft with itself ... but it's their strategy ... we only can be patient ... as I said after I've been finished with 2003 plugins ( hope middle may ) I'll make 2007.

I just hope that outlook 2007 plugins will be compatible with outlook 2010.

At middle may I think could be 2003 plugins finished. I think migrate code to 2007 it must be easy.

About 2010 compatibility I hope it'll not be the problem with 2003 and 2007 version, but it's not in our hand it's a Microsoft policy.

Today we've released office addins compatible from 2000 to 2007 ( we've tested in 2003 and 2007 ). I'm not sure it'll run with 2010
