I've have not any example with sql, you'll must search in google for "how to jackrabbit sqlserver"

I recommend http://wiki.apache.org/jackrabbit/PersistenceManagerFAQ and looking for org.apache.jackrabbit.core.persistence.bundle.MSSqlPersistenceManager

But before you configure to sqlserver ( it'll need some time ), please which will be your estimate repository size ?
