My Preview tag can'nt show chinese character (openoffice)

i use OpenKM 4.1-RC1.
ubuntu 9.10
sudo apt-get install openoffice.org
sudo apt-get install openoffice.org-l10n-zh-cn
local is en_US

my preview tag can show english character,but cannot show chinese character。
I have try to change the local to zh_CN,but same so.

I can show pdf file with chinese character.

what can i do? thank you!

chinesse pdf document is right.
chinese doc document is't right
so I have attached a chinesse doc document

I guess it is wrong when the doc document convert to pdf.
But i don't know what to do.

I not sure why the conversion is different on your system. Probably is due to software versions. My environment is:

* Ubuntu Lucid Lynx
* OpenOffice.org 3.2.0
* SwfTools 0.9.0

Try to load the document into your OpenOffice.org local installation and try to generate a PDF. Are the Chinese chars correctly converted?
