Hello

I just installed OpenKM 4.0 on openSUSE 11.2.
I use firefox as browser.
I did a migration from 3.0 to 4.0 which went well, I can see all my documents.
BUT:
I can only login with okmAdmin
When I open the Administration tab or select administration via the menu, I get a blank window !!

When I log in as okmAdmin, there appears a message at the bottom of the browser window:
"Start applet not initialised."

Any suggestions ?

Greetings

There's a bug with internet explorer that's solved in OpenKM 4.1 ( we'll release next week ).

Menanwhile use firefox or open in other browser the admin url /OpenKM/es.git.openkm.backend/

Tell me if solves the problem to you.

I was using firefox !!
Today, the Administration tab is showing it's info ! Is there some time needed to populate some tables of the internal database ?

I do have another problem: I lost my users with the migration from 3.0 to 4.0. The documents all have their author and their user-rights, but in the Administration tab, the "users" window is empty, except for the okmAdmin user !?
Can I recover my users from the 3.0 installation ?

Greetings
Philippe

Of course, but requires some manual work: you have to export the "users" database contents and import them in your new OpenKM 4.0 installation.

What I did was the following:
I copied the file OKMAuth.script from the 3.0 version to the 4.0 installation. I copied the lines indicating the users and their roles to the new OKMAuth.script file, set the fields according to the new table layout and restarted openkm. That way I got my users and roles back !
