Hello!

With OpenKM 4.0, when one deletes a folder or a document that has been set as the default home, then next time one logs on there are errors in the loading popup window. Setting up a new default home will solve the problem (see http://forum.openkm.com/viewtopic.php?f ... home#p3385)

However, it would be great in the first place not to get the mentioned error. I think the application should prevent one from deleting the set default home or should let one redefine it before granting the deletion.

Best Regards.

I know it since version 3.0 :)

Why I've not solved ? well is not simply as you think :) really you can set home in any folder or document, but it can be deleted to other user ... what doing on this scenario ? really that you home be the folder that a user wants to delete is not a reason why not deleting it ... and if in each deleting operation must take a look in all user home ( image 500 or more users ) really it'll not be good for query ... for it reason I've still not implemented any solution to this problem. Because I don't like the solution that it appears in my mind.

Any ideas are wellcome :)

I think this feature could be removed in a future release because is error prone. And if you have the bookmarks, I don't really see why is needed. And as we have seen, if the home location is removed you get an ugly error dialog.
