Hello guys!

I've got a couple of questions about date stamp of documents:
1. there was a question about date format awhile ago (http://forum.openkm.com/viewtopic.php?f ... rmat#p2733),
in June to be exact. Since then version 4.0 was released. Does v4.0 uses local locale to display appropriate format for date stamps? In my setup
locale is set to en_US, but dates are shown in day/month/year format not month/day/year. Is there something in settings which needs adjustment?
2. the date assigned to documents is the date when they added to OpenKM. Is it possible to preserve original date stamp of the document?
In other words, if one is adding document dated 15/04/2009 on 08/02/2010, can it show up in OpenKM with date 15/04/2009, not 08/02/2010?
Or is there some sort of workaround to make it happen? Or somewhere it can be edited?

Thank you for your time,
Cheers.
Michael

1- About date format, simply USA locale is not yet translated to OpenKM, it's only en_GB ( english great britain ). If you want to collaborate with us doing it, we'll be pleased to include en_US in OpenKM. Contact with us using web contact form if you're interesting on it.

2- If I understand well you want to save in some way the date you really create the document in your OS. We'll this date in OpenKM 5.0 is captured, as other information like user creator. But we've still not yet decided what to do with it. Where to save ... because really it's only initial import valid information. And we've been blocked trying to locale some place to save, seems could be in general document properties, or in some metadata ... really we're confused on it. Any suggestion it'll be welcome.

Well, this behavior can be achieved implementing a custom application which make use of the OpenKM webservice API,
