Unable to add email account for new users

Hi Team ,
I am unable to add user mail account.The problem is protocol used by my mail server SMTP protocol but the default options provided by the OpenKM 6.3.0 Version does not have SMTP mail protocol option.But my mail account uses SMTP protocol.Any help regarding this is kindly appreciated.
My question is how to add SMTP option in mail protocol???

OS:Windows 7
Browser used:Mozilla firefox

First of all must be sure if you must connect to imap or imaps. Seems from server can not set the connection. Investigate if from server really you arrive to the destination mail server ( ping ).

Finally openkm supports imap or imaps, the problem is not there, the problem is in configuration parameters or other side.

Thanks for your reply.I am clear that openkm support imap and imaps.My question is,I want to use SMTP for sending mails.Is it possible to use SMTP in OpenKM

Sincerally I've never checked this configuration. OpenKM at the present only use one account to send mails configured at server.xml file, you should check this configuration there http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Tomcat ... figuration
