We tried to make OpenKM as intuitive as possible, but an advice is always welcome.

Just so I am confident. I can use most types of files to be stored within Openkm..
What about .bin, .dwg or source code files????

But it indexes the supported types (text, Office, Office 2007, OpenOffice, PDF, HTML, XML, MP3, JPEG) to make them searchable?

OpenKM only indexes contents of some known files, like you\'ve describred. All files you put on list are indexed by their content. Files like .bin are not parsed by us and not indexing contents
