I suggest go step by step not all at same time. For OCR first test from terminal extract text from image. Then upload image to openkm and use the search engine to find it ( remember there's a indexing queue, document should be processed before doing search take a look at administration -> stats for indexing queue ( top right gray menu options )

Hello Jilrot,

can you plz explain how can i test the OCR in terminal because i did not find it, how it works in terminal.

i have uploaded few images and checked the queue as well in stats-text extraction queue, there were few pending but after a while it was all done. now i am trying to search for those images i cannot find it.

this is my configuration for OCR: /usr/bin/cuneiform. in the configuration check the status is OK, i don't see any problem.

Regards,
Z

when document is indexed text is stored in OKM_NODE_DOCUMENT, you can take a look making a simply search Administration -> Database Query -> and I suggest use the document uuid

finally you can execute from your linux the command cuneiform with some image and see text extraction results, there's no mistery on it.

Scanner library is older and not maintained from initial developers. In some twain scanners is not going right. We will share the source code to someone wants to spend some time on it.
