Hello,
I have the following problem:
When trying to purge some files and/or folders which are in my Trash (admin role) , I get some errors.
I tried the script mentioned here: http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Script ... sers_trash
but I got the error : error when communicating with server (getUpdateMessage)
and I also got this message in the script error when trying to delete a folder:
Code: Select all
Sourced file: inline evaluation of: ``import com.openkm.api.*; import com.openkm.core.*; import com.openkm.bean.*; . . . '' : target exception : at Line: 13 : in file: inline evaluation of: ``import com.openkm.api.*; import com.openkm.core.*; import com.openkm.bean.*; . . . '' : .purge ( token , fld .getPath ( ) ) Target exception: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
I also tried the start.bsh but (after stop and start OpenKM ) the files were not deleted.
I use OpenKM 6.2.2 with MySQL 5.6 and attached there are the latest logs.
Please let me know if I can help further.

Thank in advance for your great help.

Hello again,

I have installed OpenKM on a PC and I am accessing it from other PCs (from web browsers) all using windows XP 32bit. I tried the
set CATALINA_OPTS=-Xms256m -Xmx2048m
in :doStop and :doConfigTest of catalina.bat
but I got the same error when trying the scripting of administrator.
Should I use JAVA_OPTS? Should I set this in a different location in catalina.bat or in another file?

I cannot even delete some single files in my trash manually.
I also saw in the task manager that the java.exe process increased up to 1,2GB of Memory usage. I did not see it reducing. Maybe it does reduce after some time..

Thanks a lot.

First in 32 bits you will not use more than 2048GB of ram and to increase heap you should use that parameters -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m
Depenging your total memory amount you should decreate Xmx2048m to 1024 only I can suggest start with -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m and play with other values ( you can try with -XX:PermSize=64m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m also)
