How can I export categories in OpenKM 5.1.11 and import them in OpenKM 6.2.2?
(I'm migrating from 5.1.11 to 6.2.2, and I have a lot of categories.)

yes there's no problem on it, if you follow the steps in migration guide you should not lose information. Only a little observation, export and import with UUID and in this case ensure first import categories in 6.x and then import taxonomy etc... because to maintain relations between categories and documents categories should exists on the repository when you import documents etc...

Thank You, but how can I exactly export / import categories?

I can sse category information in the exported files (xyz.okm), but import procedure doesn't bild category tree.
In exported files i can't see for example a categories.okm file with my category tree in it. (Import categories first???)

For testing purpose I did (on Ubunu 12.04):

1. I downloaded OpenKM-5.1.10-JBoss-4.2.3.GA and upgraded it to 5.1.11.
2. I created 1 category, 1 folder and I uploaded 1 file, and I added the file to the category.
3. I made a repository backup with meta data (on administration tab)

4. I downloaded OpenKM-6.2.2-community-tomcat-bundle
5. I imported the data with meta, history and UUID informations.

Import didn't create category tree from exported files.

Any ide, suggestion?
Please help me!

make some screenshots at administration to see how do you export and how do you import and upload here.
