Hello all,

I have been using OpenKM for some time now, and am quite happy with it, especially the well-documented upgrades.
However, I have been running into the problem that when mounting the WebDAV, that I get this message:
Code: Select all
/sbin/mount.davfs: warning: the server does not support locks
This has not been a problem so far, however, I just lost an Excel document because I was working on it at the same time my girlfriend was working on it.

So I was wondering: is there something I need to set for OpenKM to support locks?

My setup is like this:
Virtual OpenKM Server: CentOS 6.3, TomCat Bundle
Physical Server: CentOS 6.3 -> Mounts the WebDAV in a folder, one for my GF, one for me
PC's (Windows) (both Physical and Virtual): connect to a SMB folder, in which the OpenKM folder is located.

Folder structure:
|Personal Folder (one for me, one for gf)
|-Documents Folder
|-Other Folders
|-OpenKM Folder (WebDAV mount)

We connect to the Personal folder in Windows, and from there we access all files.

Thank you for an awesome piece of software :-)

WebDrive works pretty well with OpenKM WebDAV. Which WebDAV client do you use?

Well, strictly speaking I am using davfs2 on Linux as the client.
The folder above the OpenKM WebDAV mounted folder is shared via Samba.
I haven't tried a Windows client yet.

I'm not sure if export a WebDAV resource mounted with davfs with Samba is a good idea. Try to mount directly on Windows with WebDrive.
