while logging in by clicking on login button a file tries to get downloaded called 'Chat' of about 12kb. once we cancel that download and click F5(refresh) we are able to go in to openKM. why it happens. please help by providing a solution.

It's a logout bug, really not important ( I'm not sure if it's solved on 5.1.11 ). Simply sometime when you logout openkm redirects to login page, but if logout process is not finished first page to try to login is Chat, then login is doing at this page, simply remove the /Chat from url and all will be right.
