I am using 5.1.10 on windows XP. As I understand I can upload files in taxonomy folders and can create different views in categories. So as per my understanding the file actual location is in taxonomy folder and the category is just a link to original file.

My doubts:

1) If I delete main file in taxonomy, automatically it should delete the category view also. But this is not happening ? I can still see the file in category view, which i think is not correct.

2) I have another tab as template. So i can upload file in template/taxonomy and use them using "categories". Can by simply viewing files in categories i can know actual file location , whether it is from template folder or from taxonomy folder ?

Thanks for the help.

1- When you delete a file this goes to trash, really is not definitive deleted that's reason why you continue seeing it.

2- Click on document, in document properties path you see real document path, as you understood categories is only a view of documents in other repository nodes.
