Preview tab with search result

Hi,

Is it possible to have a preview tab with the search results.

Its not easy to open all files before checking the preview first.

Can this be done easily or is there a whitepaper to do this.
I check the docs and google but couldn;t find any.

Not much complicated doing it, really could be implemented in similar way as google that shows first page at right as an image.
