Any reason why are you still using such an old version Jackrabbit? Whats the difficluties in moving to newere version.

We are developing a new repository backend and Jackrabbit support will be dropped in a future. If you are interested in supporting Jackrabbit, please let me know and send a patch with the necessary changes to support a more recent Jackrabbit version. I would like to continue supporting Jackrabbit but we can't assign resources to this task for now.
