Hi,

I realize this is a function of Jackrabbit but I\'m curious, how can we enable indexing of large txt or xml files? I have my offline files repositories saved in XML and including them in content text search would be massively helpful. Thanks for any insight.

I have recently scanned the web for this but came up with only very minor leads, but not any apparent solution. Maybe because I didn\'t understand all the concepts of Jackrabbit. So I thought I might ask here to see if anyone has a clue about it.

Thanks,
Greg

do you mean that huge files are not indexed?

correct, I tested with a small text file and contents were indexed and searchable.. but I also uploaded some xml files in the 50-75meg size range, and their contents were not searchable. I tried regular search and the administrator search using XPATH query.
