xlsx/xls not previewing

I'm not getting a consistent preview of doc/docx documents. Some docs do and some docs don't, but xls/xlsx always fails. Powerpoint and pdf previews work fine. Is there an approved version of openoffice for openkm?

The path is configured correctly or I wouldn't get any previews properly, correct?

Which OpenKM version are you using? Can you reproduce the issue in the online demo?

openkm 5.1.8

The xls/xlsx files that don't preview in mine preview correctly in the demo.

How can it be so inconsistent?

Probably the is any problem in the OpenOffice / LibreOffice integration. Have you read http://wiki.openkm.com/index.php/Third- ... Office.org? If the problem persist, please attach the server.log (zipped, please).

Issue was resolved by removing and installing openoffice.org again. Strange that it would break, possibly one of the Ubuntu system updates broke it. If I find the problematic update I'll post here for future users.

Another user wrote a similar problem due to an update in Debian. Anyway I use Debian Squeeze and Ubuntu Natty and had no issues with LibreOffice.
