print preview

Hello,

I can't print any preview in OpenKM v4.0. The preview works fine with all my documents but printing gives blank pages.
I made tests to a real printer and to cutepdf: same results

Also, in "Administration - Utilities", I get a blank document when I ask the generation of a report (PDF or HTML) related to locked or subscribed documents.
The 'users report' works fine.

You starting with number of page 1 ?
If you've not got any locked or subscribed document it must return a blank document, do you've got any ? I've tested for locked documents in actual demo and runs right.

To solve printing problems, we could make some button for it, not using preview in flash for it. WE could study direct printing from website.

Sorry for the reports, I was not mindful enough and first tought it was linked with the printing problem. --> Reports actually work well.

About the printing problem, I've looked for informations about "flash printing" but I still don't understand what could be the cause ...
If I understand well your answer, you noticed the same problem? And it could be solved later? There is maybe a workaround but I got no clue about it ...

I've not got the same printing problem that you reporting. In my case I can print some document ( I've tested in demo site ). But because I've not got any installted printer or for some driver problem in my pc, or other reason, the final pdf file that generates my cups printer is moved to the right, and I can see only a half document.

Really I don't like too much the flash printing solution. If it's interesting printing document, we could make something directly with browser and javascript to ordering printing. Really it might runs better - I think - than the flash printing. I'll put in our tracking system to develop.

sorry to bring this old one up but OpenKM 5.0.4 here and facing the same issue being talked about in here (or here). this is somewhat a showstopper... say, did i miss anything?

server-os: debian 6.01
openkm: 5.0.4
client: os x 10.6.7
client browser: firefox 4
flash: 10.2.152...

try using flexpaper system.preview=flexpaper

thanks, works a bit better as pages aren't cut off to the right anymore but still doesn't work as expected...

making a print button probably will be the best solution. Can be easilly done by creating an extension.
