Hi guys! Let me join this topic with the similar error. I have installed OpenKM 5.1.10 (build 7564) on open suse server and faced with the similar error: unable to see preview even for *.png files. I enabled full debug output and collected this into server-debug.log.gz file (attached). For your convenience the file finishes exactly after i pressed on 'Preview' tab and got an error about 'There was a problem with the conversion generation'. Could you please help me to identify the root cause of my issue?

Hi All,

After hard work trying to fix problem of PDF auto preview in openKM community release under Win7 64bit, I could fix the problem by the following actions:

1- Install open office 4 (Not libreOffice which is not working with this version of openKM and it always failed to start).
2- Set the openoffice.path to path\\to\\openoffice
3- Install Tesseract-OCR and set system.ocr to its installation path.
4- Install pdf2swf and set system.swftools.pdf2swf to path\\to\\pdf2swf.exe -T 9 -f ${fileIn} -o ${fileOut}.
5- Exit your session and restart tomcat.
6- Enjoy!.... you can preview and download any file as PDF.
