That\'s really weird. I have just installed yesterday on Ubuntu Hardy and it works like a charm.
Everything i had to do was install java 1.5 jdk and unzip the latest version from openKm in /opt.
After that i go to the bin folder and start with sudo run.sh.

What OpenKM Version do you have? And what errors to you get now?

Jesus Christ, why i think i\'m the only person in the world that can\'t run OpenKM????

I first tried OpenKM-3.0-RC2_JBoss-4.2.2.GA, no luck, so i updated and downloaded OpenKM-3.0_JBoss-4.2.2.GA final, the same problem continues :(

The errors messages are ever the same on 8.10, look into my first post on this tread. In other distros, i have to erase OpenKM.ear to get JBoss to run, but OpenKM itself doesn\'t run :(

I have Java, i tried both Java 1.5/JDK 1.5, and Java 1.6/JDK 1.6

Hi,

I am horrendously new to ubuntu like 2 weeks only. However the last one by Bit7 worked for me.

Thanks a lot. If the admin included that in the website it would be helpful to the layman like me who experiments with softwares.

Gr8 pleasure by solving it tho.

Thanks Bit7 and pavilla.

There is any differences with your previous installation?
:)

Not really, the only difference is that my previous install was a RC release of Ubuntu 8.10 that i update to the official release, but now i run the official release, no RC. I still don\'t understand what happened, the weirdo thing is that it didn\'t worked in other distros

Hi there,

Sorry for the past rubbish posts as i am really very new to the system.

But this time im sure im accurate. I had java 16 and 15 installed simultaneously. When i removed java 16, everything works fine.

Now i can work OpenKM without abt problem. Previously i could open it only once but when reboot i can no longer open OpenKM.

Having said that i hope this helps the newbies like me:)

Thanks,

Dinesh
