O bien los datos no son correctos o tu cuenta no permite el tipo de autentificación que estas intentando. Repasa de nuevo los datos y intenta con un cliente de correo electrónico convencional intentar configurar tu cuenta a ver si te funciona.

No creo que tenga nada que ver las sesiones que el tomcat tiene vivas, deberías tener miles o centenares de miles para que te afetase

Really this is not an OpenKM issue itself, it is a networking, OS configuration issue.

The SDK for Java and OpenKM have been tested for files at least of 2GB, I think the problem should not be in the SDK. Anyway, tell us your OpenKM version and a small sample code to check as similar as possible.

You have a logback.xml file in the Tomcat folder. There's the place where you must update to get more logs -> finally when the logback.xml file is updated the changes take effect after restarting the OpenKM service.

Cuando se genera este error en la interfaz de usuario en la parte del servidor, concretamente en el fichero openkm.log saca una traza completa del error. Intenta captura la sección donde se muestra toda la traza del error y compártela aquí si es posible dentro de un fichero de texto.
