Re: Determine which transition workflow took

Alright, I realized, I could just make duplicate copies of the two actionhandlers that are basically identical except for the lines with or without the comment and that solves it. Not the most elegant, but it works.

Determine which transition workflow took

Hi all,

Is there a way to determine which transition the node leaves through?

I want to run an actionhandler that writes a comment (or uploads a file) to the workflow and based on which transition it took, it writes a different comment (or doesn't upload the file).

Thanks!

Change Workflow Node Name Dynamically

Hi there, Is there a way to dynamically change the name of the nodes/tasks that are in a workflow? For example we can have 70 tasks that need to be completed in someone's dashboard and if they're all titled the same thing, they have no idea which one is which without clicking on each one. I basicall...

Workflow Stops When There's an Error

Hi All, So my workflow has some points where users could cause an error, for example when they upload a file it could have a different name (then we would get a file name is different error); however, the workflow will either stop and is not recoverable or the workflow states the error and proceeds ...

Re: Move Workflow file to new location – edit/update/delete

Is there any downside to altering that number? And what's the easiest way to alter the tables? Thanks!

Re: Move Workflow file to new location – edit/update/delete

I don't want the file to be shown as checked out by the system ideally, and in this step the person checking out the doc will always be the same as the one the one checking it back in. I'm fairly certain the setProperties is causing the JDBC error. But what is that and how can i fix it? The error re...

Re: Move Workflow file to new location – edit/update/delete

So I get a "Could Not Execute JDBC Batch Update" error if I run my code on the same file a few times. 2016-12-06 13:24:16,957 [http-bio-127.0.0.1-8080-exec-21] WARN org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter- SQL Error: 1406, SQLState: 22001 2016-12-06 13:24:16,957 [http-bio-127.0.0.1-8080-exec-21] ER...

Re: Move Workflow file to new location – edit and update

Ah okay, though I do need to denote which rev to update because I want it to be a major revision update and not a minor revision. OKMDocument.getInstance().checkin(systemToken, newDestinationPath, inputStream, comment, revUpdate); And also I was confused about what the inputStream needed to be, but ...

Re: Move Workflow file to new location – edit and update

Ah okay that definitely works too. Thanks! How can I upload do a checkin/update of a file with a file within OKM? I thought I would use OKMDocument.getInstance().checkin(systemToken, newDestinationPath, inputStream, comment, revUpdate); But I'm not sure what the inputStream or revUpdate need to be. ...

Re: Move Workflow file to new location – edit and update

Ah that is brilliant and simple. Thanks Jllort! going to implement that today. Thank you!! So I have 2 follow up questions: 1. To perform the checkin using an existing file within OpenKM what is my InputStream? See my attempt below (that doesn't work). 2. Is a try/catch the best way to do a quick ch...

Re: Move Workflow file to new location – edit and update

Ah okay, I think I've got an idea of what I'm going to do now. However, I only have one snag, which is how to delete the file if I can't move it and must update the file. I've tried OKMDocument.getInstance().delete(token, path); but I get the error, "can't delete document in a workflow". What an I d...

Re: SOLVED Delete Note from Document via Workflow

Also, I realized that I was doing something dumb with my code where I was deleting the note and then creating it again. When I was getting the code to work, it was when the code was in the beginning of my workflow and then when I put it towards the end of my workflow (which is where it would actuall...

Re: Parse Workflow Form Element Values

Alright, this one is resolved! It was in fact much simpler than using some .split method. Here's my solutions for each: 1. String nodePath = (String) context.getContextInstance().getVariable("uuid"); // Get role/user security for current file so they can all be revoked Map <String, Integer> maprFile...
