flexpaper requests license

Hi All,

I successfully managed to install and setup community edition. All of a sudden a few days ago while wanted to preview a document flexpaper shows a hint that there is no license file. I've searched on forum, wiki and asked Google but nowhere i found a hint what's going on.

What I found from some test is that when I access OpenKM via VPN connection flexpaper works. As soon as I connect "normal" way flexpaper stops working and I have to switch to zviewer. But I prefer to user flexpaparer if possible.

The site is used only by a few people (about 5-6) in order to share documents on a private basis. We are working together in order to do some research on our heating system. This means that buying a license for flexpaper is not an option.

All hints are very welcome!

Thanks
Ruediger

Community version goes with non licensed flexpaper and is very strange what you're telling us about case you're into VPN or outside this kind of poltergeist has no sense to me. Make some screenshot to understand better the problem you got, anyway openkm community version has a lot of time being used and nobody until now has noticied us with this kind of problems.

Hi jllort,

thank you for your reply.

Some minutes ago I wanted to create some screenshots in order to show you what's going on and give a brief explanation. So I logged in to OpenKM, went to Administration and set viewer entry to use flexpaper. Logged off and back in, activated preview of a docx - and guess what. No license error, preview with flexpaper suddenly worked again  . So I logged off, closed an re-opened browser and logged in to OpenKM via VPN (IPsec based vpn tunnel between Office and my home network). Coming to preview documents - yes it works again

I tried to remember about the last changes. I'm pretty sure that I did not change anything after I wrote the message above because I had not a single clue what to do next and because we could use zviewer as a working solution.

For the moment there's nothing left to do. I will come back if I manage to re-create this situation.

Thanks again
Ruediger

Perhaps you used the Professional Demo or Trial and the FlexPaper Pro. was stored in the browser cache. And after switching to OpenKM Community the browser still was using the FlexPaper Pro. Only is a theory :P
