Open Source Document Management System | OpenKM

I install OpenKM to evaluate it. Raw default installation steps. Used it for a week or two, mainly just loading up with files, applying categories et cetera, nothing rash. Just getting familiar with it.

Eventually it popped up with an error and closed and when I fired it up again the repository was empy? Nadda. Nothing. Everything deleted. I checked using the file manager and repository had been cleaned out by the application for some reason.

Not really a production ready behavior I would have thought?

I am using the inbuilt database.

Anyone else observe this behaviour?

And when you start up application you donot get any error, simply you get all data removed ? sure you have not changed OpenKM.cfg to create mode ? because if you do not get any error when started openkm is the only way to re-create the repository and that can be only made changing by hand, sure !

If you want to pass OpenKM at production I suggest configure with mysql, it's easy and well explained in our online documentation.

Default OpenKM database (HSQL) is not recommended for production because can be easily corrupted.
