Hi guys,
I have my OpenKm on 4.0 version with Jboss4.2.3. Since I am reinstalling my server I thougth it could be one oportunity to update jboss too. Is there any "not very hard" way to update without loosing lot of the information I have on current db? I've managed to backup and restore repository. Can you give me some tips? I don't mind to loose per example the keywords and user account (which is easy to create again since there are only 20 users).

Thanks in advance

You got a lot of work all the upgrades you have not done last tree years should be done now and specially upgrade to 4.1 to 5.0 will be very tedious. The easiest way for doing it is export and import files ( with administration import / export feature ) but then you will lose grants, metadata ( if you got ) and keywords. You should evaluate it, because there're some days working to upgrade to 6.2.2 I suggest do it with pacience and each time you got major upgrade 4.1 to 5.0 ( do a backup ).

Really the major problem is migrate from 4.1 to 5.0 the other steps are more easy.

It's needed to make upgrade step-by-step (from one version to another) or it's possible to make upgrade from ver. 5.11 do newest one ?

Old OpenKM versions like 4.x or 5.x are unsupported, but you can try to ask for professional support at http://www.openkm.com/en/contact.html
