Open Source Document Management System | OpenKM

I am using OpenKM ver 5.1.9 (built 7447). I have been using the setup for 9 month now then suddenly one desktop (Windows XP) the preview is not showing in this single PC. When checking it on my laptop, the pdf preview is showing. and checking it within the windows 2008 server chrome browser, preview is working. I have tried reinstalling my pdf viewer, reinstall flash plugin for chrome in the xp desktop but I cannot still make the preview appear. Even the control buttons of the preview is not showing.

I also tried using the Internet explorer to view the preview but same result. Do anybody know the system requirement for the desktop side in order to view pdf preview? Maybee java???

Recently have some problems with java in browsers, but swf viewer should not be affected by it. For what you says the problem is not on OpenKM conversion tools ( openoffice or libre office ) is on SWF previewer. for it you only need flash support, ensure you got at least flashplayer 10.

My final suggestion is not upgrade software if it's not necessary, because sometimes things goes wrong not better as you wish when you make some upgrade. Updating flash player, java or other soft could generate some problem, who knows which ? I suggest take a look on logs to ensure files are really converting to pdf and from pdf are converting to swf -> ( clean cache folder and see if are generated otherside you get some problem on conversion and not on preview ... but as I understood I think this will not be the cause ).
