Import large amount of files

Hello, I'm installing OpenKM for the second time. The first time, I was using a clean installation, with no files to import and it's working great. But now, I have to import about 600GB of files (most of them are .jpg and .pdf).
I tried to import using the option: "Repository Import", but it takes a lot of time (about 7~9 hours) and, in the end, the conection resets, only a few files are imported and I get an error.
Now I'm importing folder by folder, and i have about 180.0000 folders to check :S

I'm wondering if OpenKm have any tool to import large amout of files (these files aren't big, the biggest file is 29 Mb), or an API that I could use in this process.

Thank for your help :D

(And sorry for my bad English, I'm still learning  )

I suggest:
1- First disable all indexing and antivirus if you have enabled.
2- take a look how you're connecting to the openkm server, some ip change or similar width your DSL ? any reason why you lose connection

In your case you should create a minimal crontab task, that not needs browser session is executed at background.
