Login Problem: How to Cache the 1Mb's mainframe

Hi jillort and pavilla,
I've received some complaint about the long time of first time mainframe loading. People from some other countries may encounter problems loading the 1Mb's mainframe, it became quite slow.
My question is : Whether there's any way of caching this mainframe locally to reduce the first login headache.
Thank you.

Browsers should cache most of this page and should be quicker the second time. Which browser are you using?

I use httpwatch to time it to visit demo.openkm.com for both firefox and IE, after clearing cache, it takes me over 2 minutes to load the main frame. Then I close the browser, and login again, this time it takes 27 seconds to see the main frame.
I assume that my colleagues from other coutries may encounter similar problems just like I visit demo.openkm.com.
Is there any hint whether we can cache more ?

html code is about 1-2mb after is downloaded the browser should use cached files. If you take 2 minutes to downloading 2 mb you have got other kind of problem, probably with your bandwidth.

hi jilort,
You are right, therefore I ask for help on what types of files that are not cached by browser, I want to try with our load balancer then.

Browser should cache .html, .css, .js, .gif and .png files which conform the OpenKM fronted application. Documents are not cacheable.
