Hi all,

Is it possible to implement workflows on a headless box (for instance, Ubuntu 10.10 Server)?

Thanks,
Alex.

Do you mean create a workflow or deploy a created one?

jllort - Sorry, headless wasn't the correct term (although it does apply). I meant is it possible to implement a workflow on a version of OpenKM which is installed on a server with no screen and running a command line interface?

pavila - I'm not sure what the difference is. I'd need to do both, although I have another computer which is running Win 7 (no version of OpenKM installed though. My server is running OpenKM 5.1.9 on Ubuntu 10.10 Server.

running by command line directly is not possible, but you could create some jar file accessing it with webservices for doing it, and execute the jar files from command line ( this scenario is possible ).

If "implements" means create or build a workflow, you need a screen, of course. But if you mean deploy an already created workflow in the server, you can by using the Administration > Workflow section from OpenKM.

Alright, so how do I go about creating a workflow? The wiki instructions aren't very clear for a newbie.

Edit: Actually, wait out on that. I'm having some luck. I'll post if I have some issues.
