Login problems with OKM 5.1.9 + IE 9 and ssl-certificate

Hi okm'ers!

I have a big usage-problem with following setup (with firefox there are no problems! But most users currently take IE):

OKM 5.1.9
Extern SSL-Certificate that forwards to OKM on Port 80
Internet Explorer 9.0.8112

When I start the login, no matter what role or profile-settings, the IE start a download of "Chat (12 Bytes)" (see the image below)

Image

No matter what I choose (save to, save not, abort), the login stops. Then I try to load the page again (F5) and this error comes (see the image below)

Image

The next step is to go one step back, than this error comes (see the image below)

Image

Last step is to go another step back and the login-process starts correctly in the normal way and I can work properly without problems.

I tried to set the URL as a secure page, but it is not the solution. Also I use various User (Admins, Standards) and various profile-settings (Chat=on, Chat=off).
It seems like the problem comes when the Internet Explorer colidates with the certificate. The IE9 on setup without cerifcate works fine. But why is this chat download starting. I have no answer at this point.

Did someone knows this issue? I am thankfull for every type of help!

Nice greetings
Sascha

Hi okm'ers!

The ISA-Firewall (TMG) gives a HTTP-Status "302 temporary moved". I also found topics in jboss+tomcat forums. A good example is here: http://objectmix.com/apache/675150-apac ... rects.html.

I read here in the forum that the "apache proxy pass" configuration is the best way to setup an clean intern/extern communication with OpenKM. Could this also solve the "302-Redirection"-Issue? If yes, i would start to implement this configuration.

Has someone experimental knowledge with this?

Best regards
Sascha

Normally us we've configuring for our customers SSL certificate in apache and the configure apache proxy with OpenKM. In this scenario I can ensure to you that ssl certificates runs correctly.

Only a question is this openkm compiled by you or downloaded from our website ( sourceforge ) ?

It is downloaded from sourceforge. I actually have implemented 5.1.9. without a ISA (without a external certificate) and the same issue happens. At this point I feel it is a IE-Client-Problem (tested with IE8/IE9), because with Firefox there a know problems.
I am using 5.1.8. again an hope it will be better. I will write here, when I have tested deeply.

Best regards
Sascha

As stated by Josep, we configure the Apache to OpenKM integration and is in Apache where we configure the SSL part. No problems with IE or Firefox reported by our costumers.

So, the bug is present in OpenKM 5.1.9 but not in 5.1.8? Can you reproduce the issue in a recent night build?

I am facing the same issue with OpenKM 5.1.9 running on Linux 5.3. Please go through the attached error screen-shots.

The issue is observed with IE8 and IE6 browsers; no issues observed with Opera and Firefox browsers.
Also when tested with OpenKM 5.1.8, even IE 6 and IE8 work well !!

So looks like a bug in 5.1.9. Please resolve as soon as possible.

The bug has solved in version 6.0 but I still has not modified 5.X version for it. Really the screenshot problem has not relation with SSL etc... and should be posted in other post.
