I am using FlexPaper viewer to preview documents however for some reason I am unable to highlight and select text. Has anyone come across the problem?

could be several problems depending the kind of file, for example if file is an image obviously you can not search and select anything, in case file is text then problem could be on your flash player version - OS ( the both combination ), or the conversion parameters used to pdf2swf, or a flexpaper bug, it's possible too, but first take a look and your file type, if you can select text as pdf

Ok, have it working partially..

Looks like if I create a text file and the preview I can highlight text, search also highlights text found.

Now when I preview a pdf file I can not highlight text, and the search function also does not highlight text found.

Using the same document, I works fine with the Flexviewer application downloaded from their site.

any idea what needs to be configured here??

Not sure exactly but it is working..

Changed the following config key:

system.swftools.pdf2swf C:\jboss-4.2.3.GA\SWFTools\pdf2swf.exe ${fileIn} -o ${fileOut} -f -T 9 -t -G -s storeallcharacters

then deleted everything in:
C:\jboss-4.2.3.GA\cache\swf
C:\jboss-4.2.3.GA\cache\pdf
