Open Source Document Management System | OpenKM

in my system i disabled an user.
then i put i file into a folder the user subscribed.

He get an email that a new file is in the system.
But if he is inactive its stupid to get this information if i cant login.

is it possible to disable this if the user is inactive?

This feature needs a source code modification. Indeed simple, but a modification.
