Open Source Document Management System | OpenKM

My system: OpenKm 5.1.7 / tesserac 3 / windows xp pro / office 2002

Hello,

Despite basic pc-system know-how, I have managed to install Openkm. So far I have changed the language, installed the viewer (took some time),the ocr and the office addins.

OCR works with WORD-Documents, txt, html. But not with pdf. Any idea?

The addins show up with an error “Tree navigator” and “TreeForm-(startUp)". Is my office version too old?

Besides these two issues: Is it possible to define a resubmission date for a specific document?

First some clarification: OCR not works with .doc etc ... these file uses other extractors engines.

OCR might run with images and pdf that only has images into, test first with some tiff, and take a look on your server.log to see if there's some error.

I suggest office 2003 and office 2007, althought 2000 versions and upper are supported in older versions could be more problems. Windows is a mistery depending libraries and OS version installed could have some estrange problems ... that's the windows world.
