Hi all.
I've just updated to 5.1.8-nightly and I lost my preview for SOME pdf documents. I uploaded a test pdf for OCRing and found that 5.1.8 doesn't show previews in the web browser. Says "There was a problem with conversion generation"
This is the output from the start.sh terminal screen when I click preview:

1- First try conversion to some doc to pdf if it runs the problem is on pdf2swf configuration, we'll be waiting the feedback

Alright, I uploaded a .doc to OpenKM and then downloaded it using "Download as PDF Document" and it downloaded fine and worked. Hence, problem with pdf2swf?
Sorry it took me so long, have been flat out for a few weeks.

Yes, seems problem is on pdf2swf conversion tool. Test it directly from terminal, to see if there's some problem there.
Which pdf2swf version you've installed, and you're on 64 or 32 bits architecture ?

Putting "pdf2swf -V" in the terminal yields the following:
"pdf2swf - part of swftools 0.9.1"
When attempting to convert one of the problem files (pdf2swf test.pdf -o test.swf), the following is given:
Code: Select allWARNING fix bad advance value for char 0: bbox=1.00, advance=13.90

Try with this parameters configuration -f -t -G -s storeallcharacters and I suggest take a look

Attempted using
Code: Select allpdf2swf -f -t -G -s storeallcharacters test.pdf -o test.swf
and was given exactly the same error, however it stopped conversion at page 17 instead of page 24 like last time.
Still threw a ID Table Overflow.

WARNING fix bad advance value for char 1: bbox=1.00, advance=13.90

In OpenKM administration change the pdf2swf for some pdf2swf .bat or .sh and put there your parameters the script will be called with two parameters ( if I'm not wrong ), that's the internal code
Code: Select allString tpl = Config.SYSTEM_SWFTOOLS_PDF2SWF + " -T 9 ${fileIn} -o ${fileOut}";
I think this part is candidate to be changed, as we've done in ocr to specify all on administration data string, I've added the issue in
http://issues.openkm.com/view.php?id=1887
