Trying to get past the spam filter. Will post issue shortly.

Ok, the spam filter is not allowing me to post. Therefore I attached the original text. In summary I am receiving a getfileUploadStatus error when uploading files larger than 500BM. Please see my attached text for full details.

This was silly, I could not upload a *.txt. So I created a jpeg. Sorry.

It's not necessary increasing session timeout because each 15 minutes is executed by OpenKM UI a keepalive session ( if you've needed to increase session timeout to uploading 500mb file, then you've got other kind of problem ).

I don't know where you've readed the max file size if 64mb ? it's incorrect, there's no limit on file size uploading.

It must be some error on server.log, are you sure about it ? don't make any other operation while you're testing it to ensure the error is not obfuscated by other normal logs.
Take a look that you've got enought disk space, 1,7GB mean you've got a 1,7 temporal file in tmp folder.

I too have the same issue with uploading file..but I am using version 5.0..is it a problem. Please let me know.

Which 5.0.X version and describe the issue, basically you get the same error ? what appearing in server.log when you got the error, which file size are you uploading etc...

If you can't upload a .txt file, try to zip it and upload (in the zipped archive, of course)

I've had a couple of issues recently with openkm 'hanging' when uploading files. So far, it's always when I'm checking in a file (after checking out the previous version). Seems worse with big files (+15MB). Usually it's resolved after a few tries (have to close the browser tab due to everything frozen and re-enter openkm). But this evening I just couldn't fix it until I checked in a different (small) file, and when that worked, checked it out and checked in the original one I wanted on openkm. This evening is also the first time I've gotten an error message. It read -

"errror when communicating with server ( getFileUploadStatus)"

I used openkm 5.0 - Megamind

Not sure about server log.

These kind of error are related to network connection problems. Keep on mind that OpenKM is an web application and is sensible to network problems like high latency, a damager cable, a broken network card, etc.

Our demo server is located at EEUU and I am in Spain, but I can upload and download documents without problems. So, is the Internet access (or local network) is fine the OpenKM experience will be excellent.
