Now the search in the forum is locked, too?

When I type search for "OCR" there's no result. Now to search we need the membership?

No there's no restrinction on forum search.
Seams for "ocr" you don't get any query result, but for example for "oracle" you'll get some results. It could be some problem, because I know there're some post with ocr keyword ... we'll investigate it.

the "ocr" search term is too short to produce a search. The search engine only make search from terms bigger than 3 characters. If you search "mysql" you can see a lot of results. The minimun characters indexed by search is 4.

I have changed the indexing backend and now you can search "ocr". Please, tell me if you detect any further problem.
