Open Source Document Management System | OpenKM

Hi,

we use OpenKM i.e. to store our correspondence with customers. Now my boss ask me whether there is a function for automatic long-term preservation inside OpenKM. He wants to have an automatic conversion of our doc- and docx- docs into PDF or TIFF or another filetype which is useable for long-term preservation.

I'm a newbee to OpenKM, I didn't find something like that in the help files or in the menues of OpenKM.

So now my questions are:

Does OpenKM support automatic long-term preservation?
If yes, how I can configure it?
If no, is it planned to implement these functionality into future versions of OpenKM?

It need to be implemented across a scheduled task,, for example. We have already implemented it for a costumer who need the feature.
