Cache

Hi,
I just checked our daily backups today and recognized that the cache of OpenKM is nearly twice as big as our repository. I was just wondering if that's normal. Is OpenKM organizing the cache on it's own or are there any manually actions to make to keep OpenKM clean and fast?

Thanks.

cache is growing due your users are previewing documents ( we save there converted documents that will be previewed to don't make unnecessary conversion files and get less cpu cost, because files are yet converted and accessible for previewing), you can make some scheduler process in your system to automatically delete older files ( two weeks, months etc... ) . Is good practice doing it.

You can exclude the "cache" folder for backup because it can grow easily and is not necessary in a recovery.
